By Thomas McGuigan

1545: Mark Kerr hasn't scored for more than three years but is denied by a far post save by Dundee United goalkeeper Nicky Weaver. But the Aberdeen midfielder's shot from the edge of the box lacked real conviction.

1544: Superb goalkeeping from Graham Stack as he blocks Kris Boyd's shot from close range.

Hugh Murray ploughs into the Motherwell box and side-foots the ball past John Ruddy to open the scoring.

1542: GOAL! St Mirren 1-0 Motherwell (Hugh Murray)

1539: Benji turns and twists on the edge of the box and draws a save from Allan McGregor in another Hibs attack.

1538: Rangers left-back Steven Smith receives a yellow card for a foul on Benji. The Ibrox side still leading but Hibs are looking increasingly dangerous...

1537: St Mirren keeper Paul Gallacher touches over a fine shot from Motherwell's Ross Forbes to deny an opener for the visitors.

1536:"Morgaro Gomis does not score many, but that was an absolute peach" BBC Radio Scotland commentator Scott Davie

1534:Morgari Gomis makes it 2-0 for Dundee United at Pittodrie, with a cool side-footed finish from just inside the Aberdeen box. Alarm bells ringing for the home side now.

1534: Andrew Driver shoots inches wide of the Falkirk goal after being set up by Suso Santana.

1533: GOAL! Aberdeen 0-2 Dundee United (Gomis)

1532: Merrouane Zemmama sends a free-kick high, high over Allan McGregor's goal. That was more like a Chris Paterson penalty for Scotland in the Six Nations. A howler from the tricky Hibs man.

1530: Dundee United's goal: Danny Cadamarteri has a long-range effort turned past the post by goalkeeper Jamie Langfield. And, from the corner, Damien Casalinuovo deflects it home from five yards.

1529: Kris Boyd heads across to Kenny Miller but the former Hibs striker cannot find the net for Rangers.
1528: GOAL! Aberdeen 0-1 Dundee United (Casalinuovo)

1527: St Johnstone striker Collin Samuel goes close to giving the visitors the lead at Rugby Park after a terrific ball across goal from Danny Grainger, but Frazer Wright does enough to put the Trinidadian off.

1526: Striker Lee Miller misses a great chance to put Aberdeen ahead. Charlie Mulgrew finds the striker on the edge of the six-yard box and, although Miller did well to sidestep Dundee United defender Shaun Dillon, he hammers the ball against the crossbar.

1525: Anthony Stokes fires a rebound shot into the net but is flagged offside.

1524: Merrouane Zemmama is foiled by Allan McGregor's save as Hibs come close to an equaliser.

1522: "Motherwell don't seem to be able to get that crucial ball in the final third, and the fans are getting a bit frustrated with it." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan

1521: Alex MacDonald's free-kick swings just beyond Janos Balogh's goal.

1520: A heavy touch by Suso Santana allows Falkirk keeper Robert Olejnik to claim the ball as the Hearts player sized up a volley towards goal.

1519: Hibs are doing their best to get back into the game after losing at the early goal at Ibrox. Anthony Stokes is stopped in his tracks by Sasa Papac - everything looking good for the Edinburgh side until the final third. Rangers are looking dangerous on the counter attack.

1518: St Johnstone are continuing to press at Rugby Park. This time Jody Morris makes a late run into the box, but just like Hardie puts his effort over the bar. Derek McInnes must be impressed with his charges so far.

1517: The referee calls for a new ball at St Mirren Park after a clearance sees the match ball end up in the car park. A lucky punter outside will have an unexpected but welcome match souvenir...

1516: St Johnstone midfielder Martin Hardie tries to curl in a shot from the edge of the area, but his effort sails over the bar.
1515: "When Motherwell get the ball forward, Jutkiewicz doesn't seem to be able to hold on to it. I expect Jim Gannon won't be scared to make an early substitution if he thinks players aren't up to the task." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan at St Mirren Park.

1513: Kilmarnock striker Kevin Kyle heads onto the roof of the net from a cross in from Gavin Skelton with the first real chance of the match at Rugby Park. The hitman had been flagged offside in any case.

1512: Kjartan Finnbogason fails to latch on properly to a long ball over the top if the Hearts defence and cannot get a shot in that will trouble Hearts goalkeeper Janos Balogh.

1510: There's an injury concern for Falkirk with Ryan Flynn requiring treatment after twisting his knee.

Kris Boyd volleys in from close range after Kyle Lafferty heads Steven Whittaker's cross back across goal. First blood to Rangers at Ibrox.
1510: GOAL! Rangers 1-0 Hibs (Kris Boyd)

1507: BBC Scotland pundit Pat Nevin believes Falkirk must take the lead at Tynecastle to have any hope of taking something from the game against Hearts, because their confidence is "paper thin".

1506: "Killie are giving Saints too much space on the ball." BBC Scotland pundit Des McKeown's assessment of the opening minutes at Rugby Park.

1504: David Obua climbs high to meet a cross but cannot get over the ball as he heads over. All Hearts in the opening stages at Tynecastle.

1504: Two great chances within a minute at Ibrox. Derek Riordan send a shot inches wide of Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor's goal. Then, Kris Boyd turns Chris Hogg in the box and the Rangers striker drags his effort wide. Great start to proceedings at Ibrox.

1502:"I think the contrasts in styles here today should make for a good game." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan at St Mirren Park.

1501: From Sabiha Gokcen On My Sport: "Right St Johnstone, Cometh the hour cometh the men. Lets build on this steady start to the season and win at Killie. Come on ye Saints."

1500: Hang onto your hats, here we go at the five grounds...

1457: Captains David Weir and Chris Hogg exchange steely glances as they prepare to head out of the tunnel at Ibrox.

1454: From Billy_Mehmet_Is_God On My Sport: "Billy Mehmet top goalscorer and hat-trick for today against the Steelmen"

1450: From The_Real_Saints On My Sport: "I unfortunately can't make it to Rugby Park today because to my father's car breaking down and nobody to accompany me on public transport! Let's hope the Super Saints have better luck!"

1448: From Macker100 On My Sport: "What a refreshing change. Yogi sets out his stall with another attcking team. Going for the win rather than try to get a draw."

1445: BBC Sportsound pundit Craig Paterson says he expects a cracker at Ibrox this afternoon. With John Hughes's attacking formation and a Rangers side still stinging from the criticism they received after the midweek defeat, here's hoping for goals and plenty of them!

1444: Teams from Ibrox - Rangers: McGregor, Whittaker, Weir, Papac, Smith, Naismith, Davis, McCulloch, Lafferty, Boyd, Miller. Subs: Alexander, Novo, Rothen, Beasley, Fleck, Loy, Wilson.

Hibernian: Stack, Wotherspoon, Hogg, Bamba, Murray, Zemmama, McBride, Miller, Riordan, Stokes, Benjelloun. Subs: Ma-Kalambay, Stevenson, Cregg, Nish, Rankin, Galbraith, Byrne.

1440: "I'm going with a very attacking-minded team. Hopefully the fans will see a right good game and the three points go back to Easter Road." Hibernian manager John Hughes

1439: Teams from Tynecastle - Hearts: Balogh, Craig Thomson, Bouzid, Goncalves, Wallace, Santana, Michael Stewart, Palazuelos, Driver, Nade, Obua. Subs: MacDonald, Jonsson, Kucharski, Glen, Witteveen, Novikovas, Black.
Falkirk: Olejnik, McNamara, Barr, McLean, Twaddle, Lima, Arfield, O'Brien, Flynn, MacDonald, Finnbogason. Subs: Wagenaar, Stewart, Mitchell, Allison, Marceta, Lynch, Murdoch. Referee: Chris Boyle

1436: Teams from Rugby Park - Kilmarnock: Mark Brown, Old, Hay, Wright, Fowler, Bryson, Skelton, Hamill, Taouil, Kyle, Sammon. Subs: Bell, Invincibile, Owens, Flannigan, Fernandez, Kelly, Burchill.

St Johnstone: Main, MacKay, Grainger, Anderson, Gartland, Morris, Millar, Davidson, Hardie, Swankie, Samuel. Subs: Smith, McCaffrey, Sheerin, Craig, Deuchar, May, Reynolds.

1434: Teams from Pittodrie - Aberdeen: Langfield, Mulgrew, Foster, Considine, Maurice Ross, Ifil, Kerr, Fyvie, Miller, Pawlett, Paton. Subs: Bain, Maguire, Mackie, Aluko, Young, Duff, Crawford.

Dundee Utd: Weaver, Dillon, Dods, Myrie-Williams, Cadamarteri, Gomis, Buaben, Kenneth, Fotheringham, Kovacevic, Casalinuovo. Subs: Banks, Conway, Swanson, Shala, Cameron, Goodwillie, Watson.

1432: Teams from St Mirren Park - St Mirren: Gallacher, Ross, Potter, Mair, Barron, Dorman, Thomson, Murray, McGinn, Brighton, Mehmet. Subs: Howard, Higdon, O'Donnell, Innes, McLean, Ramsey, Johnston.

Motherwell: Ruddy, Moutaouakil, Saunders, Craigan, Reynolds, Murphy, Forbes, Hateley, Coke, O'Brien, Jutkiewicz. Subs: Kosiorowski, Humphrey, Jennings, Sutton, Lasley, Hutchinson, McHugh.

Dundee United make three changes. David Robertson and Andy Webster miss out through injury, while Craig Conway drops to the bench. Danny Cadamarteri is fit again, Prince Buaben is free from suspension and Mihael Kovacevic also comes back into the side.

1429: Former Rangers defender Maurice Ross will make his debut for Aberdeen after signing until January, while Jerel Ifil comes back from injury. Gary McDonald and Stuart Duff drop out of the starting line-up.

1426: From DiegoforUtd On My Sport: Falkirk to beat Hearts today! Haha, no chance, Falkirk are awful

1422: Hibs manager John Hughes names the same side that recorded a 1-0 win over Kilmarnock last week.

1416: Early team news from Ibrox. Rangers will line-up: McGregor, Smith, Papac, Weir, Whittaker, Davis, Naismith, McCulloch, Lafferty, Boyd, Miller.

Any thoughts on Walter Smith's side? Hibs team news will follow as soon as we have it.

And two in-form sides go head to head in Paisley as St Mirren host Motherwell. Saints have won their last two SPL matches and Motherwell, who lead the Buddies by two points, have lost only once in the league this season.

1414: Ninth meets 10th at Rugby Park as Kilmarnock host St Johnstone. These sides last met in 2002 when Killie ran out 3-0 winners. Both are in search of their second league win of the season.

Falkirk's search for a first SPL win of the season takes them to Tynecastle. Hearts lost at home to the Bairns in last season's Scottish Cup and the Jambos will be eager to add to their two league wins this season.

1410: Aberdeen are looking for their first win over Dundee United since May last year. The Dons lost twice to their New Firm rivals last season and the other two fixtures ended in draws. United are two points ahead of Mark McGhee's side going into this game and both sides have suffered only one league defeat during this campaign.

1407: Hibernian last won at Ibrox in October 2007. If Hibs do triumph in Glasgow, they will go top of the SPL, for at least 24 hours. Rangers are coming off a damaging defeat by Unirea Urziceni in the Champions League - their second successive 4-1 defeat in Europe. However, their domestic form remains strong with no defeats in the league since March.

Aberdeen can move up to fourth with victory over Dundee United at Pittodrie. Hearts host basement side Falkirk, it's St Mirren against high-flying Motherwell and Kilmarnock take on St Johnstone.

1400: Good afternoon one and all. We've got five SPL games to enjoy this afternoon, including a top of the table clash between Rangers and Hibs at Ibrox.
