Leicester moved into fifth place in the Championship following a hard-fought victory over Reading, who suffered their fourth successive defeat.

The home began confidently with striker Grzegorz Rasiak rattling the post in the 25th-minute from 10 yards.

But on-loan striker Martin Waghorn headed in the winner from Matt Oakley's cross on the cusp of half-time.

Reading continued to push forward but neither Simon Church nor Jobi McAnuff could convert excellent chances.
