Clubs look ahead to FA Cup draw

Chelsea celebrate winning the FA Cup
Chelsea beat Everton in last season's FA Cup final

FA Cup holders Chelsea will discover who they will start the defence of their title against when the third round draw is made on Sunday.

Premier League and Championship sides enter the competition in the third round, which takes place in January.

They could potentially face Blue Square Premier outfits Forest Green Rovers and York City.

Five other non-league clubs, including Staines Town, may also be in the hat depending on games yet to be played.

Blue Square South side Staines are the lowest ranked side left in the FA Cup but face a replay against Millwall in their second-round tie.

Kettering Town play League One's Leeds United on Sunday prior to the much-anticipated draw, while their fellow Blue Square Premier rivals Barrow, Luton, and Oxford will be hoping to negotiate second-round replays to secure a place in the third round.

Oxford United and Barrow play each other, with Luton having to overcome Rotherham.

The draw will be made at Wembley Stadium by five-time Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave and England women's star Kelly Smith at around 1555 GMT.
