Djokovic cruises into quarters

Djokovic's victory was the most comprehensive of his career

Novak Djokovic is through to the Swiss Indoors quarter-finals after beating Jan Hernych without dropping a game.

Second seed Djokovic beat 59th-ranked Hernych 6-0, 6-0 in just 52 minutes.

Evgeny Korolev will face Roger Federer after defeating Jeremy Chardy, while Marco Chiudinelli is also through after a two-set victory over Michael Lammer.

In the Valencia Open 500, Tommy Robredo fought back to overcome Feliciano Lopez 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 and Fernando Verdasco beat Serbian Janko Tipsarevic 6-3, 6-3.

Second seed Nikolay Davydenko also progressed to the quarter finals in Valencia with a 6-3, 7-5 straight sets victory over world number 30 Juan Monaco.

Verdasco's progress boosts his hopes of booking a place at the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

Djokovic, Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Juan Martin del Potro have already qualified for the elite eight-man tournament at the O2 Arena from 22-29 November.
