Scotland go looking for their first win over Australia since 1982 with the same 22 that beat Fiji last weekend.
Chris Cusiter continues to lead the side, while co-captain Mike Blair has failed a late fitness test.
He is replaced on the bench by Rory Lawson, with record cap holder Chris Paterson also among the substitutes.
Australia make one change from the starting XV that drew with Ireland, with George Smith coming in at flanker to replace the rested David Pocock.
Pocock, 21, was man-of-the-match in Dublin but required treatment for a gashed chin which needed stitches after the match.
Australia disposed of England but Ireland ended their hopes of a Grand Slam tour of the home nations.
Nevertheless, Wallabies coach Robbie Deans has made it clear he is determined to remain unbeaten by naming such a strong side.
Matt Giteau is the star man for Australia and Scotland will have to shackle the buzzing fly-half to have any chance of an upset in Edinburgh.
And the man who has scored more than 500 points for the Aussies is expecting a rough ride from a muscular home side.
"It's going to be a tough game," Giteau told BBC Scotland.

"Every time we play Scotland, whether we've won comfortably in the end or it's been close, it's always a tight game up to the 70th minute.
"It's only been in the last 10 minutes when we've been able to get away with it.
"Scotland are always physical and direct, with their big centres.
"The forwards are confrontational and they are strong in the scrum."
With Smith returning to win his 109th cap, Richard Brown will cover number eight and openside flanker on the Australian bench, and he is joined by loosehead prop Sekope Kepu, who replaces Matt Dunning.
With the Scots unchanged, it means new head coach Andy Robinson has again overlooked Glasgow winger Thom Evans, who made such a positive impact during the Six Nations.
Sean Lamont and Simon Danielli will operate on the flanks, with Evans and Nikki Walker getting the chance to press their claims when Scotland A face Tonga on Friday.
Scotland turned in a positive first 30 minutes in the 23-10 win over Fiji and were defensively strong in the second half after losing their way in attack.
Another solid rearguard display will be essential against the nation ranked third in the world.
"Australia are very well structured in attack, so we have to be smart in defence and not allow ourselves to be manipulated," said captain Cusiter.

"Against Australia, one lapse in concentration could lead to a try and we have to keep our focus and concentration for 80 minutes."
Robinson wants to see Scotland recycling the ball more quickly at the breakdown than they did against Fiji.
We need our very best - Robinson
And that will mean Cusiter being ready to make the most of it.
"Rugby's a game of basics and that quick ball is something that we'll need to put them under pressure," he said. "Everyone has a role in that."
Australia arrived in Edinburgh on Thursday and were welcomed by torrential rain.
With the weather set to remain wild over the weekend, the ball will be squirming around like a bar of soap and the wind will play a part.
"Any time you're able to get turnovers, whether it's wet or dry, it's crucial, because you stop the momentum of the opposition - they can't get into their game plan," explained Giteau.
"It's something we work hard on and we have guys that are good on the ground."
Scotland have been warned. Can the home side cut out the handling errors that have been so costly over the years and take the game to their illustrious opponents?
