    A knee problem could deprive Hearts of the services of full-back Craig Thomson for the Scottish Premier League match against Motherwell.

    Ian Black returns from suspension, but Laryea Kingston, Calum Elliot, Jason Thomson, Jamie MacDonald and Andrew Driver remain sidelined.

    Motherwell will be led by interim boss Craig Brown and assistant Archie Knox.

    They will work with youth team coach Gordon Young to prepare the Steelmen after Jim Gannon was sacked on Monday.
