Nasri (left) squared up to Nicky Barmby after his foul on Garcia
|
Arsenal's Samir Nasri will not be punished by the Football Association for a clash with Hull's Richard Garcia in the Gunners' 3-0 win on Saturday.
The midfielder seemed to tread on Garcia's foot and was booked by referee Steve Bennett for his part in a mass confrontation following the incident.
Bennett has since reviewed the events using videotape footage.
But he has decided he would not have shown the Frenchman a red card had he seen the incident at the time.
Hull's players reacted furiously to the foul, with Nicky Barmby and Stephen Hunt having to be physically restrained, and the latter was cautioned for his actions.

The feud between the teams appeared to continue in the tunnel as the players left the pitch.
Denilson, Eduardo and Abou Diaby scored Arsenal's goals, while Geovanni missed a penalty for Hull, with the score at 1-0.
