Australia won the final one-dayer with Pakistan to complete a 5-0 series sweep on top of a whitewash over the same opponents in the Test series.
Electing to bat first in Perth, Pakistan crashed to 16-3 before Umar Akmal (67) and Fawad Alam (63) improved the situation with two big stands.
However, a late collapse left Australia chasing a modest 213 to win.
The hosts lost regular wickets, but Michael Hussey produced an unbeaten 40 to see them home with four balls left.
