Britain's Jessica Ennis got her season off to a sensational start with a 60m hurdles victory over American world champion Lolo Jones in Glasgow.
The world heptathlon champion powered through at the end to claim a British record time of 7.95 seconds, two hundredths of a second ahead of Jones.
"To start this way has given me a lot of confidence," Ennis told BBC Sport.
"I love coming to these events but I never expect to win as they are individual's events."

The 24-year-old from Sheffield has started the year in impressive form, posting a 60m hurdles lifetime best of 8.12 seconds in Loughborough on 9 January, but took a large chunk out of that time with a polished performance at Kelvin Hall.
"She had an excellent race, she really turned it over at the end," admitted Jones.
