Snodgrass is relishing Sunday's clash with United
|
Leeds forward Robert Snodgrass says he and his team-mates will not be overawed when they face fierce rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup at Old Trafford.
Top of League One and having lost only twice this season, Leeds gave Liverpool a scare in a September Carling Cup tie.
And Snodgrass told BBC Sport: "We've got a lot in our team - firepower, a good defence and lots of leaders.
"Sunday will test the team and test our character but we are full of confidence and we give ourselves every chance."
The highly-anticipated game is the first between the two sides since they met in the Premier League in 2004, with Leeds having been relegated twice after suffering financial meltdown.

Leeds might lie 42 league places below United but Snodgrass is sure they will give a good account of themselves despite the current gulf between the two clubs.
The Scotland Under-21 international explained: "We've shown on numerous occasions that we can compete with higher standard teams.
"In the Carling Cup this season we beat Watford and gave Liverpool a good game before losing 1-0.
"And you don't have to try to get yourself motivated for a trip to Old Trafford - everyone is raring to go."
More than 9,000 Leeds fans are expected to make the trip across the Pennines, with the police on high-alert for possible clashes between the two sets of supporters.
"The fans have been talking about playing Manchester United again since I arrived at Leeds," said Snodgrass, who moved to Elland Road from Livingston in the summer of 2008.
"The rivalry between the two clubs speaks for itself. I grew up in Glasgow, and it is right up there with the Old Firm.
"We've got to put all that behind us and approach the game with a positive way of thinking - that they are just another team. We approach every game exactly the same and will take it from there.
"We won't let any of the hype faze us. We are happy for people to talk beforehand but it is up to us to do the talking on the pitch when the game starts."
