PA system interrupts Selby's snooker silence

Mark Selby cruised through to the Masters quarter-finals with a stunning 6-1 victory over China's Ding Junhui.

Selby, winner of the Masters in 2008, took advantage of an out-of-sorts Ding to storm into a 5-0 lead.

Ding, who won the UK Championship last month, sunk a tricky black to edge the sixth frame but the end was soon coming as Selby wrapped up victory.

Peter Ebdon plays Marco Fu and Jimmy White takes on Mark King in the day's other matches in London.
