1947: Word just in from Warren Gatland - Ryan Jones will start. Tight calf all week, reckons he's good to start.
1943: Reasons to be cheerful for Wales: last time France did a lap of honour at the Stade de France, they were trounced in their next match, by England a year ago. Reasons to be cautious: they're a different team these days. And Marc Lievremont has stopped tinkering. And Parra and Trinh-Duc are the best half-back partnership in the northern hemisphere. And... I'll stop, shall I?
1940: Latest on Ryan Jones - he's out on the pitch warming up, but he's got a large ice-pack strapped to his left calf. Looks pretty miserable, but there's no definitive word...
1936:From majesticimperialman on 606: "I can't see anything other than France win tonight."
1932: You know that red button action I mentioned? It's all up above. Done deal.
1928: Don't want to panic you, Wales fans, but there are rumours rattling around that skipper Ryan Jones may have picked up a late calf injury. Would be a big blow, that. I'll keep you posted.
1924: Feeling rather fresher than I did at this point before the return fixture this time last year. Having left Cardiff on our bikes at 0730 the day before, and with 280 miles in our wakes, I'm not even sure we'd reached the Stade de France yet...
The alternative Tour de France
1918: Let's have some stats: of the 86 matches between the two countries, Wales have won 43, France 40. Three draws. And Wales have lost six of the last eight meetings in the Six Nations. Hmmm.
From Ieuan on 606: "Wales have got to start brilliantly and get better throughout the game! Otherwise France will win comfortably.. If Wales do make a good start, they might rattle the French and sneak it."
BBC Sport's Bryn Palmer on twitter:
"Our hotel foyer taken over by male voice choir. Bread of Heaven being belted out at mo. Fendigedydd."
1908: Quick heads-up: if you're waiting for the live TV coverage to start on BBC1 at 1955, that's fine - but you might want to know that there's live build-up from 1930 on the BBC HD Channel and via the red button. Inverdale at the helm. I'd watch it myself if I wasn't doing this.
1905: France charging for the Grand Slam, Wales looking to convince us that the Gatland revolution is still going strong. The visitors have come out on top in four of their last five visits to the Millennium Stadium, but we all know what happened last time they were here - seen off by Williams' Shane and Martyn as Wales sealed a Slam of their own. Tidy.
1900: Now then. Anyone fancy a prime slice of Friday night Six Nations ding-dong?
