0939: Here's a quick update of what has happened so far today. Ferrari's Felipe Massa has set the fastest time of the morning, a 1:21.849, but the team
report that:
"Last day of testing didn't start with too much luck for Felipe Massa. A technical issue will keep him in the garage for a while." They also say the track is a bit slower than the previous three days. Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi is second quickest with a 1:22.713 with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton currently third after a 1:22.777. There's been one red flag already, after Williams driver Rubens Barrichello visited the gravel. He's ninth quickest so far.
BBC Sport's Sarah Holt in Barcelona: "This is it. The final day of pre-season testing; the last chance saloon for Formula 1's teams to put their cars through their paces before the season begins in Bahrain in two weeks' time. Over the four tests in Spain, Ferrari appear to have a slight advantage in terms of raw speed and consistency but there are still plenty of questions still to be answered on Sunday. Have main protagonists Red Bull and rookies Virgin both solved their reliability problems? Will former world champions Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton unleash their Mercedes and McLaren chargers? Or will we have to wait until Bahrain for definitive answers? Um, probably."
0935: Hello. It's a grey, dismal, windy and decidedly moist morning here in Shepherd's Bush, but at least it's dry (for now) in Spain for the final day of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya. It's the last chance for the teams to give their cars a run out before the Bahrain Grand Prix. It should be a busy day, welcome.
