Winger Slory has made two appearances for the Netherlands

West Brom have bolstered their attacking options by completing the signing of Feyenoord winger Andwele Slory on a free transfer.

The Dutch international, who prefers to be called Andy, has penned a five-month deal with the option of a further year.

West Brom hope Slory, 27, will receive international clearance in time for Wednesday's game at Blackpool.

"I'm very excited - I've always dreamed of a foreign adventure," Slory told Feyenoord's official website.

Born in Surinam, the 5ft 8in Slory started his career with Telstar before joining Excelsior in 2005.

After scoring 26 goals in two seasons, he moved to Feyenoord, where he notched seven goals in 50 appearances.

"Everyone knows we're been looking to bring in an offensive midfielder with pace and we're delighted to have signed Andy," said West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo.

"He can play wide or through the middle behind a striker and he'll be a good addition to the squad."

Slory's performances for Excelsior in the 2006-07 season earned him an international call-up and he won two caps on the Netherlands' tour to Asia in the summer of 2007.
