Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas, William Gallas and Andrey Arshavin are all out after picking up injuries against Barcelona.
But there is better news for midfielder Denilson and defender Gael Clichy who passed fitness tests on Friday.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy looks set to name the same side that held Everton at Molineux last week.
Striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is likely to miss out with a virus so Sam Vokes should replace him on the bench.
Arsenal
Injured: Arshavin & Gallas (both calf), Djourou (knee), Fabregas & Ramsey (both leg), Gibbs (foot), Van Persie (ankle)
Wolves
Doubtful: Ebanks-Blake (virus) Injured: Kightly (ankle/knee)
It's been a difficult week for Arsenal, whose hopes of silverware have been dented by draws against Birmingham and Barcelona, as well as the loss of captain Cesc Fabregas for the rest of the season.
If the game has tired them out then brilliant because we will probably need all the help we can get
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy on Arsenal's draw against Barcelona

If Kevin Phillips' 90th-minute equaliser on Saturday left Arsenal shell-shocked, so too did the footballing masterclass from Barcelona on Wednesday. Many are still unsure how Arsenal came away with a 2-2 draw.
With that in mind, Arsene Wenger can be forgiven for welcoming the visit of Wolves, who have a poor record against the Gunners and were beaten 4-1 at Molineux in November.
But Mick McCarthy's side are playing with renewed confidence after a four-match unbeaten run which has hauled them clear of the relegation zone. They have also shown a liking for the capital, winning on their last two visits against West Ham and Tottenham.
Should Wolves pull off another London victory on Saturday it would be a blow from which even resilient Arsenal could surely not recover.
Head-to-head
• It's 31 years and 10 matches since Wolves last beat Arsenal. They have yet to pick up a point in the Premier League against them.
• This is the 107th time these sides have met. Arsenal lead by 53 wins to 28 and there have been 25 draws.
606: DEBATE

Arsenal
• Arsenal are unbeaten in seven league matches, having won six in a row before Saturday's draw at Birmingham.
• Arsenal will not want a repeat of last season, where they won only three of their last six matches.
• Arsenal have scored 17 goals in the last 10 minutes of matches this season, more than any other Premier league side.
• Manuel Almunia has made 99 Premier League appearances for Arsenal.
Wolves
• Wolves are unbeaten in their last four matches, equalling their longest unbeaten run in the Premier League.
• Wolves and Portsmouth have the weakest attack in the Premier League, both scoring 28 goals in 32 games.
• Wolves have won as many points away from home as Liverpool (16).
• If Wolves win, they will beat their points tally from their only other Premier League season. In 2003/04, they finished bottom of the table with 33 points; they currently have 32 points from 32 matches.
