TEAM NEWS

Crystal Palace will secure Championship survival with a victory and relegate Sheffield Wednesday in the process.

Eagles have strikers Alan Lee and Calvin Andrew back in contention after injury, although left-back Lee Hills is out with ruptured cruciate ligaments.

West Brom goalkeeper Scott Carson is expected to return despite injuring his ankle against Middlesbrough last week.

Jerome Thomas looks to have played his last game of the season after a recurrence of a back injury.

MATCH PREVIEW

A victory for Crystal Palace would see them avoid the drop, and a nail-biting final-day encounter at Sheffield Wednesday, who will go down if the Eagles beat promoted West Brom.

Wednesday's defeat at Cardiff on Saturday means Palace, in a relegation battle since being deducted 10 points after going into administration in January, will be safe if they win their last home match of the season.

Otherwise, their fate will be decided next Sunday, when either side will be condemned to League One football next term. A draw at Hillsborough would be enough to keep Palace up, but they will want to take the chance to make that game academic.

To do so, they would need to inflict only Albion's fourth away defeat of the season. No Championship side has suffered fewer away losses than the Baggies, who are the top scorers in the division and unbeaten in their last 10 matches.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Crystal Palace are unbeaten in the club's last four matches against West Brom.

• The Eagles' 1-0 win at The Hawthorns earlier this season means Palace could complete their first league double over Albion for 14 years.

• Palace have won seven, drawn seven and lost seven home league games against the Baggies.

606: DEBATE

• Goalkeeper Julian Speroni is set to make hiss 150th league appearance for the club, and Clint Hill his 350th career league appearance.
