Manchester United club captain Gary Neville has signed a one-year contract extension at Old Trafford.
The 35-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Premier League champions this season and nearly 600 appearances in total since making his debut in 1992.
The right-back has recovered from a serious ankle ligament injury which forced him out for 13 months in 2007.
Neville joins fellow veterans Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs in committing to another season at Old Trafford.
Since signing a contract extension until June 2010 in February 2009, Neville has proved his fitness and form and has been mentioned as a possible candidate for a place in England's World Cup squad.

With his side chasing a fourth consecutive league title, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson hailed Neville's performances this season.
"He deserves it," said Ferguson. "His contribution has been fantastic.
"What Gary has achieved after being out of the game for 18 months, in his 30s, is astonishing."
The emergence of 19-year-old Rafael has seen Neville alternate right-back duties with the Brazilian at Old Trafford this season.
The new contract will take Neville into his 19th season at the club after coming up through the famous youth team that also produced David Beckham, Nicky Butt and Scholes.
