The Japan race postponement was useful for the injured Rossi

Valentino Rossi has admitted he is not at full fitness heading into this weekend's Spanish MotoGP at Jerez.
The defending world champion won the opening race of the season in Qatar but has since injured his shoulder in a motocross accident.
"Some movements are no problem but some others are a lot of pain," said Yamaha rider Rossi.
"I have force in the hand but some pain in the shoulder, so we need to wait for Friday to understand my situation."
The second race of the season should have been in Japan last week, but was postponed until October because of the travel chaos caused by the recent volcanic ash cloud.

Rossi admitted that the enforced break had given him much-needed extra recovery time.
"I was very lucky the Motegi race was postponed, last week would have been more difficult than now," the 31-year-old Italian added.
"I had one extra week to work on my shoulder but we need to wait for Friday to understand how it is on the bike."
The gap in the schedule caused by the postponement of the second race will also have been useful for Rossi's Fiat Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo.
Lorenzo finished second at the season opening race in Qatar despite a pre-season hand injury, a result which, under the circumstances, he said meant more to him than some previous victories.
