Trapattoni names youthful squad

Trapattoni will add to the squad after the training camp

Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has named eight uncapped players for a training camp in Dublin later this month.

Ipswich keeper Brian Murphy and Birmingham midfielder Keith Fahey are included in a youthful 23-man squad.

Northern Ireland-born duo Marc Wilson and Shane Duffy are also included.

Other uncapped players are Sunderland's David Meyler, Derby's Paul Green and Preston's Keith Treacy and Wolves player Stephen Ward.

The training camp will take place at Malahide from 16-21 May.

On 22 May, more experienced players will link up with the squad ahead of the friendlies in Dublin against Paraguay and Algeria on 25 and 28 May.
