England train ahead of crunch match
Midfielder Michael Carrick sat out England's training session on Monday because of an ankle injury.
The Manchester United man was one of two absentees along with Tottenham defender Ledley King who continues his rehabilitation from a groin injury.
England face Slovenia on Wednesday in their final group game with only a win guaranteeing a place in the last 16.
A defeat will see them eliminated with a draw leaving their fate depending on the result between the USA and Algeria.
England find themselves at risk of what would be their first World Cup group-stage exit since 1958 as a result of a heavily-criticised goalless draw with Algeria in Cape Town on Friday.
The team were booed off at full-time, with coach Fabio Capello stating he was "mystified" at the gulf in standard between his players' assured efforts in training and their poor displays during games.

Capello and the squad gathered at a pre-planned meeting on Sunday evening to analyse their performance against the Desert Foxes and begin preparations for their crunch clash with Slovenia in Port Elizabeth.
Earlier on Sunday, former captain John Terry had suggested the players were planning clear-the-air talks with the coach amidst reports that the squad is unhappy with aspects of Capello's management style and tactical approach.
