The 2009 Derby runner-up Fame and Glory went one better to win the Coronation Cup on Ladies' Day at the 2010 Epsom meeting.

Johnny Murtagh had the four-year-old, trained by Aidan O'Brien, handy throughout and he stayed on stoutly to beat the filly Sariska, with High Heeled in third.

Irish Derby winner Fame and Glory, a 5-6 favourite, benefited from the pacemaking of stablemate Dixie Music, which may have blunted the finishing speed of last year's Oaks winner Sariska.

The winner is now rated the 4-1 favourite for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp in October.

606: DEBATE

The day's feature race is the Oaks (1605 BST), where former champion trainer Henry Cecil trains two of the leading candidates in Aviate and Epsom as he seeks his ninth win in the fillies' Classic.

Ten-time champion Cecil, 67, has fought stomach cancer for the last three years and battled his way back into the top echelons of Flat racing.

Other leading Oaks contenders in the 15-strong field include Rumoush for Marcus Tregoning and Akdarena, trained in Ireland by Jim Bolger, while O'Brien and Murtagh team up again with Remember When.
