Gautam Gambhir continued his excellent form with 83 as India beat Pakistan by three wickets at Dambulla to earn a place in the Asia Cup final.
Skipper Mahednra Dhoni weighed in with 56 but a mid-innings slump revived Pakistan and led to a thrilling finish.
But Harbhajan Singh settled the issue by hitting the penultimate ball for six as India squeezed home on 271-7.
Salman Butt (74) and Kamran Akmal (51 off 41 balls) were the main contributors in Pakistan's 267 all out.
But it was not enough and India will face Sri Lanka in the final next Thursday following the final two round-robin games.
