Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali has urged the FIA and rival teams to consider a change to the safety car regulations to prevent a repeat of the events that hurt his outfit at the European Grand Prix.

Domenicali's call has been echoed by Michael Schumacher, who along with his Mercedes boss Ross Brawn, also wants clarification of the safety car rules after the seven-time world champion completed his worst-ever race finish in 259 grand prix starts, finishing 15th.
