England striker Wayne Rooney has returned to training after sitting out Monday's session with an ankle knock suffered against the United States.
Left-back Ashley Cole, who is usually given an extra day's rest because of an ongoing ankle complaint, was also back in training action in Rustenburg.
The only absentee was Ledley King, who could be out for three weeks after injuring his groin against the USA.
Midfielder Gareth Barry is now available to face Algeria on Friday.
The Manchester City player missed England's opening group C match, which they drew 1-1, but insists he is now fully recovered from the ankle problem suffered in early May against Tottenham which threatened his participation in the World Cup.
"The ankle has been fine for probably 10 days," he told BBC Sport.

"Another week's training in the lead up to the Algeria game and it should be spot on. If the manager would have asked me [to play against the USA] then I would have have bitten off his hand to try and make the starting team."
If, as BBC Sport understands, King is out injured for three weeks he would miss the remaining group matches and a potential last-16 match.
The Tottenham centre-back underwent a scan on Sunday, which confirmed he had a "groin muscle strain".
But England still hope the 29-year-old will play some part in the tournament and he will not be flown home early.
