Hibernian v Rangers (1215)

Hibernian    v    Rangers

    Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League
Venue: Easter Road Date: Sunday, 22 August Kick-off: 1215 BST
Coverage: BBC Sport website, BBC Radio Scotland

Hibernian defender Ian Murray serves the second of his two-match ban in a game which will mark the opening of the Easter Road club's new East Stand.

The home side are likely to start with the same XI that beat Motherwell.

New Rangers signing Vladimir Weiss will go straight into the squad but Nikica Jelavic will need to apply for a work permit should his move be completed.

Steven Davis is back from illness and Andy Webster has returned to training but Lee McCulloch is still suspended.

    Hibernian manager John Hughes:
"We have to have belief and trust in our style of play and try and take the game to Rangers

"It's still a bit of a mixed bag. You don't know what you're going to get. We'll always score goals with the quality we have up front.

"I want an expansive style of play but I want to keep the back door shut as well and be ruthless in our defending.

"And that starts from the front. Can the forwards work harder, get that tackle in and close down."
