1551: Right, while I dip into my sandwich (ham, cheese and spinach combo by the way and a ready salted crisp), I'm going to dip into the action. Let's see how those Brits and the other big-hitters are doing at the start of this final round.

1546: This live stuff is not just about me. It's about YOU. I'll try to use as much of your top drawer contributions as I can. Predictions, lookalikes, thoughts on Tiger. I don't need to tell you what to talk about. Just go for it. It's Sunday. Nothing else to do is there? 1543: With Poulter heading for the airport (see 1458), the first Brits in action today are Ross McGowan (come on England) and Rhys Davies (come on Wales) and they went out together at 1456. Nice. Darren Clarke (come on Northern Ireland) set off at 1514. And then let's not forget the Scots. Martin Laird got his clubs swinging at 1523. Who are your pick of the Brits today?

Steve in Sheffield, via text 81111: "10/1 on Kaymer, the way he putted yesterday that's surely a steal!"

Daniel in Moscow, via text 81111: "C'mon Rory! Make us proud to be Irish!"

1529: On the back of Rory's quotes. (See 1526) I do like a sportsman at the top of his game talking about getting excited for an event. So many of Britain's top stars seem fearful of the big stage. "I'm looking forward to it" he says. Like it. A lot. How do you guys think he'll get on? He tees off at 1926 with China's Wen-chong Liang who was a bloomin' sensation on Saturday. What a cracking pairing that promises to be. Just three shots behind Watney.

1526: Rory McIlroy - the name on everybody's lips. Aged just 21 and if he wins tonight he'll be a day younger than when Tiger Woods was when he won the 1997 Masters. Can he do it? After his 67 yesterday he said: "I putted really well inside 10 feet to keep the momentum going." Is it his best opportunity with 18 holes to play in a major? "Definitely. It will be my first time I've been in contention and hopefully I'm up for the challenge. If I can play as well as I did [Saturday] then I've got a good chance. It will be a new experience but one I'm looking forward to."

John From London Town MBE on 606: "It's Nick Watney's to lose isn't it? A 3 shot lead. I'd love to see Rory McIlroy win this. I'm sure he's taken some inspiration from his fellow countryman winning the US Open. He knows it can be done & I'm sure G-Mac has explained the intricacies of winning a major to him."

1509: A quick look at the early boys. Jeff Overton, who had been lined up to play with Ian Poulter, is presumably playing on his poor little old self. That can't be easy. He's been out on the course for an hour and he's ripping it up. Eight holes down. Two bogeys and he's on +6. Here's a scenario to toy with. You're playing golf with a mate and an old boy, who is clearly on his own, strolls up and says: "Hello. Mind if I join you?". Do you tell him a) No thanks, we're happy thanks. b) Yeh, that would be great c) Are you having a laugh? d) Pretend you haven't heard him and march swiftly to the next tee.

1503: Here we go then. The big drama coming later but the early hitters are already out there. Still plenty to talk about. McIlroy. Wen-Chong Liang. Watney. Tiger. Poults. I want to hear from you. 1458: POULTER NEWSFLASH - England's Ian Poulter has pulled out ahead of his final round. After carding 72, 72 and 77, it seems Poulter is still struggling with a chest infection. Using his Twitter account, Poulter said: "Guys, it's a no go this morning, body is not strong enough, had to withdraw." And added: "Gutted; first time I've ever had to do that when feeling ill. Flying back home to Orlando this morning, my bed is awaiting my arrival. I can't get back quick enough."

1452: After being sent out in threesomes on Saturday to make up for the time lost to weather and the stinky fog on days one and two, we're back to pairings today. The full list of tee times is available here - but Rory McIlroy will go out at 1926 BST alongside red-hot Chinese star Wen-Chong Liang. Tiger Woods is a way back at three under, and will play with Tim Clark, teeing off at 1644 BST.

1447: Afternoon. We're down to the last round of the final major of the season. Reputations are at stake. Ryder Cup places are up for grabs. Up for some drama? Nick Watney leads the way at 13 under, but Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy is gunning for top spot just three shots behind in second place. Can he follow his compatriot Graeme McDowell by winning his first major this season? Welcome on board.
