MK Dons manager Karl Robinson wants big-name opponents in the Carling Cup following his side's 4-3 extra-time win over Premier League side Blackpool.

Lewis Guy's 110th-minute goal means the League One club will be in the third round draw at 1215 BST on Saturday.

"These competitions mean a lot to clubs like us and we're having a good run, so let's get a nice draw that brings us some money," said Robinson.

"I don't care who we get but the money men would like Manchester United away."

Jermaine Easter scored twice in an enthralling encounter at stadium:mk, which was taken into extra time by an 82nd-minute penalty from Charlie Adam.

However, second-half substitute Guy settled the match following good work from Easter.

"I'm delighted for the boys," added Robinson. "They were fantastic and what pleased me the most was that we dominated a Premier League team for long periods.

"We scored some unbelievable goals that would have graced any ground in the country.

"When we moved the football quickly we looked a very good side against a team that got out of one of the toughest leagues in Europe last season.

"They were a tough test for us and I'm immensely pleased."

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway had made 10 changes to the side that lost 6-0 at Arsenal on Saturday.

However, Holloway did not attend the match as he was watching a possible transfer target, leaving assistant manager Steve Thompson in charge.

"Obviously you want the gaffer here but circumstances at the moment are that he needs to go and get new players in - and that's why they left me in charge," Thompson told BBC Sport.
