 Wozniacki goes into the US Open in confident form

Caroline Wozniacki geared up for the US Open with victory over Nadia Petrova in the final of the Pilot Pen Championships in New Haven.
The Dane, who is top seed at Flushing Meadows with Serena Williams absent, beat Russian Petrova 6-3 3-6 6-3.
After levelling the match at one set each, Petrova dropped her first service game in the third set.
She broke back, but was broken again in the eighth game and Wozniacki served out the match.
It was the third consecutive New Haven title and the second title of the week for the 20-year-old who won the rain-delayed Rogers Cup final in Montreal on Monday.
She reached the final of the US Open 12 months ago, losing to Kim Clijsters, and will face American Chelsey Gullickson in the opening round of this year's event.
