Sauber driver Kamui Kobayashi has been appointed an honourable international ambassador for sports and tourism by the Japan Tourism Agency. He says he has a Yorkshire terrier named Alfie, wanted to be a comedian but wasn't talented enough and he hates raw fish, even though his father runs a sushi delivery business.

Former Lotus F1 driver Trevor Taylor has died of cancer at the age of 73. He was a team-mate of double world champion Jim Clark and his best finish was second in the 1962 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.
