James B in Melbourne, Australia, via text 81111: "Just waiting for the rather dull aussie rules grand final replay to finish, so i can get stuck into a ryder cup day 2 bonanza. Come on europe"
Plenty of European fans shouting already on Twitter and the texts. Any Americans whopping out there?

Twitter
mbhemming on Twitter: "Stuck in Gabon in the tropical heat, glued to the laptop, hoping we get a full days play today! Go Europe!"

0741: So those are the latest scores. Here's a breakdown of what will happen today. Friday's fourball matches will be completed this morning with the US up in two of the matches. There'll be no let-up today so hold on to your hats. Instead of the standard four foursomes matches, there will be six, meaning all 12 players on both sides will feature rather than eight. That can only be good for the spectators and you guys right? Then depending on when they finish, there will be two foursomes and four fourballs (could be later today or first thing Sunday), finishing up with the 12 singles. Europe need 14.5 points to win. That make sense?

Westwood/Kaymer 1 up v Mickelson/D Johnson (after 12)
McIlroy/McDowell 2 down v Cink/Kuchar (11)
Poulter/Fisher AS v Stricker Woods (10)
Donald/Harrington 1 down v Watson/Overton (8)

* Europe pairings first

0733: On to the plan. Play gets going at 0800. It was 0745 but they need to move players to their respective positions. Forecast is good, despite a bit of mist drifting in. There were fears fog would sit over the course and cause disruption but it looks like it's only the practice range the only affected area. Some small rain showers expected between 1700-1800BST, it will be quite a breezy day but HEY - it's going to be generally dry. So the course director says. Get your slippers on, save this page as a favourite, find your spot on the sofa, get the kettle on, get back to work, just do what you've got to do, let's do this together. Details on who's up next....

The sun is out
0728: It's day two at the Ryder Cup. Thanks to yesterday's cloud explosions, the organisers have been forced to come up with a plan B. Probably plan Y actually. Either way, it's a race to finish by Sunday night with a new format. Play gets going at 0800. More details in a sec. But a cosy snuggly warm welcome to everybody this morning. Or evening. Depending where you are. Where are you? How are you?

0725: Morning. Build-up. Nerves. Relief. Utter joy. Rain. Puddles. Soggy pants. Waiting. More waiting. Relief. Delight. More nerves. More build-up. Ohh the joys of waiting for buses on a Saturday morning. Right. Now what's going on today?
