London Irish returned to the top of the Premiership table after surviving a stunning Sale fightback to grab a last-gasp bonus point victory.
The visitors trailed by 20 points with just 25 minutes to play but tries by Anitelea Tuilag and Ben Cohen and four Nick MacLeod kicks drew them level.
Two Ryan Lamb penalties settled home nerves and Jonathon Joseph intercepted to go over and secure the extra point.
