Clarke paired with Goosen at PGA

Darren Clarke will play alongside Retief Goosen and American Boo Weekley in his opening two rounds at this week's PGA Championship in Tulsa.

Clarke received a special invitation to compete at Southern Hill despite his disappointing form this season.

Open champion Padraig Harrington will play his first two rounds alongside this season's other major winners Zach Johnson and Angel Cabrera.

Paul McGinley will tee up alongside US players Jerry Kelly and Will MacKenzie.

Clarke, 17 over par, finished 25 shots behind winner Tiger Woods at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone on Sunday.

Woods will tee off will fellow Americans Bob Tway and Rich Beem in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

World number two Jim Furyk will have Luke Donald, one of 10 Englishmen in the field, alongside him for the first two days,

Scotland's Colin Montgomerie will play alongside three-time major winner Ernie Els and American Stewart Cink.

There are 32 Europeans altogether in the field of 155.
