Ana Ivanovic remains on course for a fourth-round clash with Venus Williams at the US Open after a 6-3 6-1 win over France's Aravane Rezai. The 19-year-old Serb trailed 3-1 in the opening set but stormed back to set up a third-round meeting with Vera Dushevina of Russia. Venus takes on Ioana Raluca Olaru of Romania in her second-round match later on Wednesday. Serena Williams, Justine Henin and Jelena Jankovic are also in action. Sybille Bammer , the 19th seed, was another early winner on day three, beating American Meghann Shaughnessy 6-4 6-3.
