1946: Both games have just kicked off.

1945: You've got to hand it to Brown and Knox. The poor souls are being compared to Jack and Victor from Still Game, but let's not be ageist - they have a great appetite for the game.

1944: Darren Dods, Danny Cadamarteri and Morgaro Gomis - back from suspension - are drafted into the side ahead of Andy Webster, ineligible under the terms of his loan deal, and Jon Daly and David Goodwillie, are both on the bench.

1941: So Motherwell have brought in Stevie Hammell, Ross Forbes and Jamie Murphy. Yassin Moutaouakil misses out through injury while Keith Lasley and John Sutton are dropped to the bench. Youth development chief Gordon Young picked the team with interim management team Brown and Knox overseeing preparations.

1939:Motherwell, managed by Craig Brown and Archie Knox now that Jim Gannon has left, line up as follows: Ruddy, Saunders, Reynolds, Craigan, Hammell, Jennings, Hateley, Forbes, O'Brien, Jutkiewicz, Murphy. Subs: Fraser, Lasley, Meechan, McGarry, McHugh, Sutton, Slane.

1936: And over at Tynie, the Hearts team lining up against Motherwell is: Kello, Bouzid, Zaliukas, Goncalves, Wallace, Santana, Michael Stewart, Palazuelos, Jonsson, Mole, Robinson. Subs: Balogh, Kucharski, Black, Eisconte, Smith, Nade, Templeton.

1934: And Dundee United line-up as follows: Weaver, Kovacevic, Dods, Kenneth, Dixon, Myrie-Williams, Dillon, Gomis, Buaben, Conway, Cadamarteri. Subs: Banks, Daly, David Robertson, Swanson, Casalinuovo, Goodwillie, Hill.

1932: The Rangers team to face the Terrors is the same as the one that played so well at Hibs: McGregor, Broadfoot, Bougherra, Weir, Papac, Lafferty, Davis, McCulloch, Novo, Miller, Boyd. Subs: Alexander, Edu, Whittaker, Smith, Fleck, Little, Wilson.

1930: Welcome to the live text commentary of tonight's Scottish Premier League matches from Ibrox and Tynecastle, where Rangers play Dundee United and Hearts take on Motherwell.
