Kings XI Punjab have dismissed reports that England batsman Ravi Bopara may not play for them in the Indian Premier League because of security concerns.
"Ravi Bopara is going to be in India no later than 3 March to play in the IPL," said a statement from the team.
"All media reports on his non-participation are speculative.
"We have spoken to Bopara and he has confirmed his participation and he is eagerly waiting to join in the hunt for the 2010 IPL trophy."
Bopara, 24, is scheduled to play in the IPL along with fellow England players Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Eoin Morgan, Owais Shah, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Graham Napier and Michael Lumb.

But he is reported to have had doubts of going to India for the tournament, starting on 12 March, because of the threat of terrorism.
Bopara is on a £300,000 contract to play for Kings XI Punjab and IPL commissioner Lalit Modi matched the confidence of the franchise that the batsman would turn up.
"Ravi Bopara and Brett Lee arriving tomorrow," he said via his Twitter feed on Monday.
Modi has warned any players who miss the lucrative tournament that they risk their future in it if they fail to show because of security concerns.
Kings XI Punjab start their IPL campaign on 13 March when they play Delhi Daredevils in Mohali.
