Jones-Bishop has scored four tries for Quins this season
|
Harlequins have confirmed full-back Ben Jones-Bishop suffered a depressed fracture of the skull during Friday's 38-26 win at Wigan.
The 21-year-old, who is on a season-long loan from Leeds, was caught on the head by a stud in an accidental clash.
Jones-Bishop underwent scans during a two-night stay in hospital before being released on Sunday.
A Quins spokesman said: "Ben will have further tests this week to ascertain the full extent of the injury."
It is unclear how long Jones-Bishop, who has been an ever-present so far this season, will be out of action for, although he will definitely miss Quins' clash with Hull on Saturday and the Challenge Cup fifth-round tie against St Helens.
