Andy Turner picked up Great Britain's third gold of the European Athletics Championships as he surged through to take victory in the men's 110m hurdles.
Turner hit the front with three hurdles left as favourite Petr Svoboda faltered to win in a time of 13.28 seconds.
Frenchman Garfield Darien took silver and Hungarian Daniel Kiss won bronze.
Briton Christian Malcolm missed out on gold by one hundredth of a second as Frenchman Christophe Lemaitre won the 200m to complete a sprint double.
Welshman Malcolm, 31, was leading with five metres remaining but Frenchman Lemaitre produced a storming finish to dipped to the line to win in 20.37 seconds.
Malcolm was given a time of 20.38 while Lemaitre's compatriot Martial Mbandjock took the bronze medal in 20.42.
Briton Marlon Devonish finished fourth in 20.62.
Turner's victory follows the gold-medal performances of Mo Farah in the 10,000m and Phillips Idowu in the triple jump.
"It's a dream come true," 29-year-old Nottingham athlete Turner told BBC Sport.
"I came here with the dream of gold. I knew I was capable, but being capable and doing it when you need to are two different things.

"I knew if I had a clean race it was mine for the taking, I felt good in the semi but hit that one hurdle and it threw me back.
"I knew Svoboda was up on me in the final but he hit that hurdle. You've got to have 10 good hurdles and he hit that one, and maybe that's what cost him the gold."
Meanwhile, 200m silver medallist Malcolm, who lost lottery funding last year, was left with "mixed emotions" after narrowly missing out on gold.
"It means a lot," Malcolm told BBC Sport.
"It's been a very tough year but I've come through with a medal.
"I can't believe he caught me on the line. It's hard being so close to winning it but to take a medal - I can't argue with that. I have mixed emotions. Later on I'll be so happy to have a medal."
Malcolm also paid tribute to Lemaitre.
"He has lots of talent, it's great for Europe to have athletes capable of competing with the United States and the Caribbean," added the Welshman.
Fellow Briton Hatti Dean produced a superb finish to come fourth in the women's 3,000m steeplechase.
The runner from Oxfordshire posted a personal best time of nine minutes 30.19 seconds, in a race won by Russia's Yuliya Zarudneva, with Spaniard Marta Dominguez taking silver and Russian Lyubov Kharlamova picking up bronze.
"I can't believe it," said 28-year-old Dean.
"I didn't think it was real until the last lap. This gives me so much belief. I need the confidence to run as fast as I know I can run."
