1145: There's been a few changes to starting grid over the last couple of days, so here goes. Michael Schumacher, who qualified in 11th, came into the race with a 10-place grid penalty for almost pushing Rubens Barrichello into a pit wall at the Hungarian GP. Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, who was 12th in qualifying, has been demoted five places because of a gearbox change before Saturday's qualifying. Toro Rosso's Sebastien Buemi has a three-place grid penalty for impeding Rosberg yesterday while Virgin Racing's Timo Glock was given a five-place penalty for getting in the way of Hispania driver Sakon Yamamoto. BMW Sauber's Pedro de la Rosa will start from the back of the grid after his team put a ninth engine of the year into his car following qualifying (each driver gets an allocation of eight for the season). Got that? Not sure I have to be honest.

Penno on 606: "A McLaren one-two was in my dreams. I sense a lot of drama."
Thankfully, my dreams last night did not involve an F1 driver. Which was nice. I'm going for a Lewis Hamilton win and a Robert Kubica podium.

1140: Right then, you know the form by know, get in touch with your predictions, lunch menus and where you're watching the race on 606, Twitter or via text on 81111 (UK) or +44 7786200666 (worldwide) and I will try to get them on this page. There's a fair bit of other sport going on today so if you could put FORMULA 1 before your text message so I can quickly find out if you're talking to me, that would be fab. Ta.

1135: Morning all. I'll admit there was a little spring in my step as I leapt out of bed this morning (admittedly I had just been jumped on by my two-year-old daughter, but I'm sure I would have been sprightly anyway) as I contemplated what is in store for us today. The opening two days of this Belgian GP weekend have been very tricky for the teams as they tried to negotiate varying weather and track conditions. It does not look like being any different today. Mike 'Tomasz Schafernaker" Gascoyne, the Lotus technical chief, tweeted a while ago: "Latest forecast is for a dry start with rain around 1400 BST. Don't hold me to it though, forecast changing all the time."

1130: A title fight reaching a thrilling climax, five drivers battling for the title, one of the most revered circuits on the calendar, the distinct possibility of rain and the chance to see more of Eddie Jordan's eclectic wardrobe - this is going to be a pretty special afternoon. With me?
