1052: Now, if this draw 'starts' at 1100 at Uefa HQ in Nyon, what time do you reckon we will actually get down to the serious business of the draw?

1045: I'd love to hear from a few Tottenham fans out there. I'll be brutally honest, at this time of year I sometimes really need to force myself to feel the football vibe but if I supported Spurs I think I would be all over this draw. Champions League debut beckons.

1040: Liverpool and Motherwell, of course, sealed their passage into Friday's mammoth Europa League draw by completing two-legged victories on Thursday. Liverpool defeated Rabotnicki 2-0 at Anfield for an aggregate 4-0 win, while Motherwell brushed aside Aalesunds 3-0 to complete an overall 4-1 triumph.

1030: A busy few hours lie ahead of waiting for various officials at Uefa to stop talking and actually proceed with Friday's Champions League and Europa League draws.

The draw for the fourth qualifying round of the Champions League takes place first, with 20 teams in the mix.

These include Tottenham, with Harry Redknapp's team facing either Dynamo Kiev, Braga, Sampdoria, Auxerre or Young Boys.

Qualify from this round and you are through to the group stage.

The draw for the play-off of the Europa League follows, with a whopping 74 teams in the draw. I feel a headache coming on already.

Again, the group stage follows for the victors, with British interest featuring Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Celtic, Dundee United, Motherwell and TNS all in the mix.
