Turner's second spell at Pools saw a struggle in League One last season
|
Chris Turner has resigned as director of sport at League One side Hartlepool United with immediate effect.
Turner took charge of first-team affairs in December 2008, after Danny Wilson left Victoria Park to join divisional rivals Swindon Town.
The post was the 51-year-old's second stint at the club, having first managed Pools between 1999 and 2002.
Former Carlisle and Gretna boss Mick Wadsworth will lead the club in Saturday's trip to Yeovil Town.
