Rangers midfielder Lee McCulloch has been ruled out of Scotland's friendly against Czech Republic on Wednesday.
But national coach Craig Levein is hopeful that defenders Andy Webster and Lee Wallace will recover from knocks.
Rangers say McCulloch will be forced to withdraw after he picked up an ankle injury in Sunday's win over Celtic.
The 31-year-old had asked not be considered for selection under George Burley but agreed to return when Levein took charge of the national team.
McCulloch, who said he had wanted to concentrate on his club career before reversing his decision, reported to the national team camp on Sunday evening and his injury was due to be further assessed in the morning.

Hearts left-back Wallace and Dundee United central defender Webster also reported to the Scotland camp carrying injuries.
An SFA spokesman said on Sunday: "Lee is a doubt for the game but will stay with the squad overnight and have his ankle injury assessed in the morning.
