Wales and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is walking unaided just a month after suffering an horrific double-leg break in the 3-1 win over Stoke City.
The 19-year-old was was stretchered off and taken straight to hospital after a challenge by Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross, who was sent off for it.
Ramsey returned to London this week after recovering at home in Caerphilly.
"You don't realise how much you'd miss football until you're not doing it for a long period of time," he said.
"The days just become boring, so I can't wait to continue with my recovery and get back into action.
"What happened was a shock to everyone I think, but they've did unbelievably well to go back and win that game and they've carried on ever since.
"Hopefully that'll continue. Obviously I'm very disappointed not to be out there on the pitch but I still feel a part of things and believe I've contributed over the season.
"I want to win the title as much as my team-mates do and hopefully they can achieve that for all of us."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has not enjoyed a happy season on the injury front with key players suffering serious problems.
Captain Cesc Fabregas this week became the third player after Ramsey and Samir Nasri in suffering a broken leg in the 2-2 Champions League draw at home to Barcelona.
Striker Robin van Persie has been out since November with ankle ligament damage picked up on international duty.
Defenders Johan Djourou and Kieran Gibbs are also long-term absentees, while Andre Arshavin, William Gallas, Gael Clichy, Nicklas Bendtner, Eduardo, Denilson and Carlos Vela have all missed parts of the season.
But Arshavin and Gallas picked up fresh calf injuries in the Barcelona draw, with Gallas likely to miss the rest of the season.
Ramsey, who joined Arsenal in June, 2008, as a highly-rated 17-year-old for £5m from Cardiff City, has made rapid progress since his arrival at the Emirates and this season has 29 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four times.
But he is not expected back for some time though.
"I'm going on holiday to Dubai for a bit this week and then the medical team will reassess the injury and we'll go from there," Ramsey told Arsenal's official website.
"Dubai will just be to relax, obviously my leg starts to ache if I walk on it too much, but it'll be nice to get away and have a bit of sun."
